Design an interactive panel to visualize taxi trips in New York City in 2015. The distribution of pickups and returns in the city could be easily detected.
Project data on taxi zone and calculate the trip counts to understand the distribution of trips on zone level.
Analyze taxi trips data using DBSCAN and understand the different travel patterns of citizens in each census tract. Pickup and dropoff location, trip distance as well as pickup hour are considered.
Predict taxi demand on taxi zone level in New York City using random forest regression. We take count of facilities, like restaurants, time, weather and census data into accounts.
